Senior Design
As a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, seniors are challenged to a two-semester long capstone project prior to graduation to challenge their overall skills as an engineer. This projects encapsulate the entire motto of an engineer, challenging us in aspects of design, manufacturing, testing and analysis, & leadership skills. These are my projects I was able to participate in with several teams throughout my last year prior to graduation.

Roof Shingling Robot Module
This project was our Senior Capstone project. With the dangers of roofing, our team was challenged to design, manufacture, and test a first generation robot that could succesfully shingle a roof and eliminate many shingling risks. This includes loading shingles, placing them accurately, and nailing them to the roof per state codes. I was able to lead our team in the Spring 2022 semester in MECH 447 Team Lead position with outstanding marks.
Prosthetic Knee
This project was our Senior Kinematics lab final project. One of the newest, most evolved part of this century are human prosthetics. As these injuries stay common and prosthetics continue to evolve, we were challenged to redesign a prosthetic knee that was capable of the human legs typical range of motion. This also must be able to withstand average human loading statically and dynamically. We were awarded with very high remarks on this project.

Electroencephalogram (EEG) Cap Redesign
This project was my Senior Design Elective project. I elected to take Biomedical Device design due to my lack of knowledge in the subject matter knowing it would be a challenge and a great learning experience. Our group was challenged to redesign a current medical product that had vast room for improvement. This was our solution to the device; our group received outstanding remarks on this project.
